Alexander J. "Al" Lyczkowski, Jr. passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at Devon Senior Living in Devon, PA. He was 87. Mr. Lyczkowski was a resident of Devon, PA and was formerly of Bridgeport, PA. He worked as a production foreman for the Quaker Chemical Co. in Conshohocken, PA. Al was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, where he was an usher at Sunday Mass. Mr. Lyczkowski was a US Navy veteran of WW II, serving as a Pharmacist's Mate Third Class in the Pacific Theatre of Operations. Born in Conshohocken, PA on August 2, 1925, he was a son of the late Maryann (Andrejeski) and Alexander J. Lyczkowski, Sr. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 68 years, Mary M. (Storti) Lyczkowski; two sons, Alexander J. Lyczkowski, III and his wife, Gloria, of Spring Hill, TN and Anthony J. Lyczkowski and his wife, Kathleen, of Jacksonville, FL; a daughter, Mary C. Nadwodny and her husband, Raymond, of King of Prussia, PA; seven grandchildren: Anna Marie, Alexander IV, Stephen, Raymond Jr., James, Anthony Jr., and Matthew; eight great-grandchildren: Alexander V, Victoria, Sarah, Nicholas, Marina, Joshua, Griffen, and Dywer; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Chester and Joseph; and three sisters, Sophia, Theresa and Helen. Relatives & friends are invited to Al's Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 502 Ford St. Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 10:30 am. His viewing will be Wednesday morning from 9 to 10:20 am, at the church. Entombment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery Mausoleum, King of Prussia, PA.
