Catherine M. (Staffieri) Brewster

Catherine M. (Staffieri) Brewster passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 8, 2012, surrounded by her loving family at her residence in King of Prussia, PA. She was 90. Mrs. Brewster was a member of Valley Forge Presbyterian Church in King of Prussia, PA. She graduated from Southern High School in South Philadelphia. Prior to retirement, she performed secretarial and accounting services for several local companies including: JC Penney's, Standard Brands, Gino's corporate office, and SKF. Catherine's life revolved around her children and family. She enjoyed reading, watching classic movies, sewing, spending time at the family home in North Cape May, NJ, and visiting her son and sister in Colorado.Born in Philadelphia, PA on October 11, 1921, she is a daughter of the late Rudolph and Margaret (Hooven) Staffieri. Catherine was the wife of the late Herbert R. Brewster, who died in 1996.Surviving is her loving family including a son, H. Robert Brewster, Jr. of Coal Creek Canyon, CO; a daughter, Karen M. DeStefano and her husband, Len, of King of Prussia, PA; 2 grandchildren, Sharon Moffett and her husband, Mark, and Daniel DeStefano and his wife, Angela; 4 great grandchildren: Jordan, Allie, Arianna and Isabella and a sister, Mary Rafter of Boulder, CO.Catherine's Funeral Service will be at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202,) Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Monday, August 13, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Her viewing will be Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:50 AM, at the funeral home.
