Ermenegildo Fiorentino

Ermenegildo Fiorentino passed away peacefully on Monday, November 1, 2021, surrounded by his loving family at his residence in West Norriton, PA. He was 90. Mr. Fiorentino worked as an engineer and inventor. He held several patents for the automation of processing equipment. He was a member of Holy Saviour Church in Norristown, PA. He was a member of the Holy Savior Club and Bocce team. Ermenegildo was president of Filitalia’s Montgomery County Chapter and he served in the Italian Air Force. He enjoyed gardening, carpentry, and raising his chickens. Most of all, he loved boating and spending time with his family at their shore house. Born in Montella, Italy on July 9, 1931, he was a son of the late Gaetano and Felicia (DelloBuono) Fiorentino; and the husband of the late Maria (Iacobelli) Fiorentino, who died in 2015. Surviving is his family including three sons: Bruno (Mary) Fiorentino, Mauro Fiorentino and Tony (Anne) Fiorentino; nine grandchildren: Crystal, Kathy, Michele, Teresa, Christina, Jonathan, Michael, Stephan and Christopher; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Grazia Capone; and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by brothers, Angelo and Amedeo Fiorentino; and a sister, Carmela Torri. The family will receive relatives and friends at Holy Saviour Church, 407 E. Main St., Norristown, PA 19401 on Friday, November 5, 2021 from 9 to 10:00 am; with his Funeral Mass starting at 10:00 am. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA.
