Jack Tilford

Jack Tilford passed away peacefully on Monday, September 7, 2009 at Bryn Mawr Hospital in Bryn Mawr, PA. He was 87. Mr. Tilford was a resident of Wayne, PA. He was the self-employed owner and operator of the Wayne Cab Company. Jack was a WW II veteran. Born in Mansfield, ILL on October 17, 1921, he was a son of the late Charles Wayne and Ruth Ann (Kenser) Tilford. He was the husband of the late Mildred A. (McCollum) Tilford, who died in 1983. Relatives and friends are invited to his Graveside Service at Lower Merion Baptist Church Cemetery, 911 New Gulph Rd., Bryn Mawr, PA 19010 on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jack's memory to Bryn Mawr Hospital, 130 S. Bryn Mawr Ave., Bryn Mawr, PA 19010.
