Jacqueline Preis

Jacqueline Ruth Preis, 91, of Newtown, PA, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020 peacefully, at St. Joseph Manor, Meadowbrook, Montgomery County. Jaqueline was born in Ashland, PA on August 25, 1929, daughter of the late Helen (Moyer) and Guy Zimmerman. She was the widow of Dr. Francis Preis. She was a long time resident of Cornwells Heights, PA. Jackie graduated with an RN Diploma from Ashland State Hospital and was employed at Evangelical Manor in Philadelphia before her retirement. Jackie will be remembered for her deep love and devotion to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with family, sewing and lunching with friends. In recent years, she was quick to the dance floor and to laugh. Jackie touched so many with her kindness throughout life. Jacqueline was the beloved wife of the late Francis; loving mother of the late Francis (Mari), Stephen (Robin), Susan Pallett (Bob) and Christina Preis; she was the devoted Grandmother of Catherine Diimmler (Mark), Jacqueline Hewston, Elizabeth Hensler (Chad). Michael Krempl, Caroline Avila (Mike), Emily Preis-Lovelady (Michelle), Christina Chiodo (Mike), Joseph Preis, Christopher Preis and Robert Pallett; She is also survived by seven Great Grandchildren and her sisters Catherine Mikulak and Gloria Beaver. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM on Wednesday, December 23rd at St. Thomas Aquinas R. C. Church 601 Bristol Pike in Croydon, PA 19021. Her interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, PA. Both funeral and interment will be private.
