Jacqueline R. Garay

Jacqueline R. “Jackie” (Katolick) Garay passed away peacefully on Monday, December 21, 2020. She was 67. Mrs. Garay was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. She worked as a Registered Nurse for the former Sacred Heart Hospital in Norristown, PA, Harleysville Pediatrics and later in the home healthcare field. Jackie was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Bridgeport, PA. She enjoyed music and dance, loved watching ice skating and hosted many New Year’s Eve parties. Jackie was very generous, always thought about others, and often checked in on her family and friends. Most of all, she loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. Born in Pottsville, PA on July 16, 1953, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth (Bakalar) Katolick; and the wife of the late Andrew S. Garay, who died in August of 2020. Surviving is her loving family including a daughter, Andrea Garay; two sons, Matthew Garay and his wife, Janelle and Stephen Garay; four grandchildren: Dylan, Mason, Maximus and Maisy; and a sister, Lisa Hall and her husband, David. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St., Bridgeport, PA on Monday, December 28, 2020 from 8 to 10:00 am. Masks and social distancing are required. Due to Covid, we please ask the consideration of others and limit visiting time with the family. Interment will be private.
