Sue L. Storti

Sue L. (Raffeo) Storti passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at Gwynedd Healthcare & Rehab in Lansdale, PA. She was 101. Mrs. Storti was a resident of Schwenksville, PA and former resident of E. Norriton, PA. She graduated from Norristown High School, Class of 1939. Sue was a co-owner of a food market in King Manor and also worked part-time at Sears in the catalog sales department. A devout Catholic, Sue was a member of St. Mary R.C. Church in Schwenksville, PA and a former member of St. Francis of Assisi Church. She was a member of the Mothers Club Bowling League, the knitting club @ Greenfield, volunteered for the American Red Cross at various blood banks and she loved to cook. Born in Norristown, PA on January 6, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Accursio and Antonina (Ingrasciotta) Raffeo; and wife of the late Charles M. Storti, Sr. Surviving are her loving family including two sons, Samuel A. Storti and his wife, Margherita of Skippack, PA and Charles M. Storti Jr. and his wife, Elma Marie of Gilbertsville, PA; four granddaughters: Patricia (Dennis) Martin, Susan (Joe) Debro, Megan A. (Matthew Hanemann) Storti, and Holly Sue Storti-Gaugler (David); eight great-grandchildren: Emily, Benjamin, Gianna, Matthew, Ryan, Avery, Adalynn, and Abigail; two brothers, Leonard (Barbara) Raffeo and Vincent Raffeo; and many other loving nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a son, Gus Storti; great-grandson, Jake Michael Debro; three brothers: Joseph, John and Paul Raffeo; and five sisters: Accursia, Mary, Eva, Lena “Dolly” and Catherine. Relatives and friends are invited to Sue’s viewing at St. Mary R.C. Church, 40 Spring Mount Road, Schwenksville, PA 19473 on Monday, March 7, 2022 from 10 am to 11:15 am; with her Funeral Mass starting at 11:30 am. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Sue’s memory to Montgomery County Blind Association, 35 E. Marshall St., Norristown, PA 19401 and/or St. Therese, 8433-8501 Bailey Road, Darien, IL 60561. Arrangements are by the Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., Bridgeport, PA.
