A. Gloria Orse

A. Gloria (Montecalvo) Orse passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 3, 2009 at Mercy Suburban Hospital in E. Norriton, PA. She was 78. Mrs. Orse was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. She worked as a CRT Operator for TV Guide in Radnor, PA, until her retirement in the late 1980's. Gloria attended Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia, PA.Born in Berwick, PA on October 8, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Antoinette (DiMauro) Montecalvo. She was the wife of the late Joseph A. Orse, who died in May of 2009. Surviving are her loving family including a son, Joseph A. Orse and his wife, Kathy; a daughter, JoAnn Orse Martin and her husband, John; 4 grandchildren: David & Chrissy Orse and Dan & Suzy Martin; two brothers, Nick Montecalvo and his wife, Bonnie and Mike Montecalvo and his wife, Marie and two sisters, Lucy Volpecelli and Erminie Olah, all of Berwick, PA; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a brother, George Montecalvo and a sister, Grace Kordalski. Relatives & friends are invited to her Funeral Mass at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at 10:00am. Officiating will be the Rev. John T. Conway, Pastor. Her viewing will be Saturday morning from 9 to 9:50am, at the church. Entombment in St. Augustine Cemetery Mausoleum, King of Prussia, PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Gloria's memory to Montgomery Hospital Hospice, 25 W.
