Adeline 'Lena' (Valerio) Branco

Adeline "Lena" (Valerio) Branco passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 12, 2011, surrounded by her loving family at Regina Nursing Center in Norristown, PA. She was 97. Mrs. Branco was a resident of Bridgeport, PA. She worked at the family jewelry business in Bridgeport, PA. Lena was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, PA. She was also a member of Plymouth Country Club and Springford Country Club.Born in Bridgeport, PA, on June 19, 1913, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Maria (Valerio) Valerio. She was the wife of the late Sullivan "Sal" Branco, who died in 1975. Surviving is her loving family including 2 sons, Richard P. Branco, Sr. and his wife, Joyleen, of Collegeville, PA, and Carmen A. Branco and his wife, Jean, of Jeffersonville, PA; 8 grandchildren: Eileen, Richard Jr., Christopher, Lauren, John, Susan, Natalie and Samantha; 15 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Carmela Valerio, of Bridgeport, PA; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a son, Stanley S. Branco; 5 brothers, Michael, Joseph, John, Frank and Ralph; and a sister, Rose.Relatives & friends are invited to her Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 502 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Saturday, April 16, 2011, at 11:00am. Lena's viewings will be Friday evening from 6 to 8pm at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St., (Rt. 202) Bridgeport, PA 19405 and also Saturday morning from 10 to 10:50am, at the church. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lena's memory to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 502 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA 19405.
