Agnes R. O'Hara

Agnes R. (Connell) O'Hara passed away peacefully on Friday, December 17, 2021, at her home in King of Prussia, PA. She was 97. Mrs. O'Hara worked as an Executive Secretary in industry and also as a volunteer for her parish and Bishop Kenrick High School. She was a long time member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia, where she was a Eucharist Minister and a home visitor. Agnes was a great wife and mother who loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, painting, ceramics, reading and loved going to the shore year round. Agnes and a group of volunteers started the library at Mother of Divine Providence School with just a few books. She even took classes at Villanova University to learn the Dewey Decimal System. Agnes was named Woman of the Year 1971 for all her work at the library. Born in Philadelphia, PA on February 17, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Daniel F. and Mary J. (Phillips) Connell; and the wife of the late John J. O’Hara Sr. Surviving is her loving family including four children: John J. (Trish) O'Hara Jr. of West Chester, Maureen T. (Carlos) Munoz of Clint, TX, Barbara J. (Raymond Ferrario) O’Hara of Clarks Summit, and Terence K. (Sandy) O’Hara of Havertown; eleven grandchildren: Sean, Ryan, Dan, Kevin, Matt & Kaitlyn O’Hara, Michael & Christopher Ferrario, Lauren Resch and John Paul Munoz; three great-grandchildren: Julianna & Luke Resch and Samuel Ferrario; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Teresa Munoz; brother, John J. Connell; and sister, Marie Callan. Relatives & Friends are invited to Agnes’ viewing at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Road, King of Prussia, PA on Monday, December 20, 2021 from 9 to 10:15 am; Eulogy at 10:20 am; and Funeral Mass starting at 10:30 am. Masks are required. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
