Albert J. Imperial, Sr.

Albert J. Imperial, Sr. passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 21, 2010 at Kent General Hospital in Dover, DE. He was 74. Mr. Imperial was a resident of Dover, DE and was previously of Bridgeport, PA. He worked for the former Aristocrat Upholstery in Bridgeport, PA and then as an assembler for Ford Visteon in Lansdale, PA. Albert had an extensive train collection and he loved gardening. He was known for his beautiful yard, garden and plants. Born in Bridgeport, PA on May 1, 1936, he was a son of the late Angelo and Julia (Capaldo) Imperial. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 52 years, Violet M. (Coleman) Imperial; two sons, Albert J. Imperial, Jr. and his wife, Paula of W. Chester, PA and Nick Imperial, Sr. and his wife, Lois of Worcester, PA; a daughter, Angie M. Collins and her husband, Kevin of Phoenixville, PA; two grandchildren, Heather M. Rotay and Nick Imperial, Jr.; two sisters, Mary Jo Dickinson of Bridgeport, PA and Rose Marie Guidici of Jeffersonville, PA; a sister-in-law, Gloria Imperial of Lansdale, PA; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Anthony W. and Michael C. Sr. Relatives & friends are invited to his Prayer Service at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 10:00am. His viewings are Friday evening from 6 to 8pm, and Saturday morning from 9 to 9:50am, both at the funeral home. Interment in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia.
