Albert R. Kitto

Albert R. Kitto passed away peacefully on Friday, August 6, 2010 at Montgomery Hospital in Norristown, PA. He was 73. Mr. Kitto was a resident of King of Prussia, PA, since 1976. He graduated from St. James High School, received a BS from Villanova University and a Master's from St. Mary's University. Mr. Kitto was a Merchant Marine, and then retired as a Lt. Col. in the US Air Force. He then worked as an Aerospace Engineer for the former GE, which is now Lockheed Martin, in King of Prussia, PA and later became a certified webmaster. Albert was a devoted member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia, PA. He was also a member of the Valley Forge Signal Seekers and his hobbies included being a private pilot/AOPA/EAA, radio controlled aircraft and computer programming.Born in Chester, PA on February 27, 1937, he was a son of the late Ignatius Adam Kitto and Ruth (Short) Kitto-Spanier. He was the husband of the late Catherine "Teresa" (Phelan) Kitto. Surviving are his loving family including two sons, Michael A. Kitto and his wife, Kelly of Purcellville, VA and Stephen M. Kitto and his wife, Mary of Victor, Idaho; a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Kitto Spangler and her husband, Robert of Anchorage, Alaska; eight grandchildren: Katyna, Kody, Kelsea, Kasey, Josephine, Catherine, Stephen and Sarah. He was preceded in death by a brother, David Ignatius Kitto and a sister, Frances Kitto. Relatives & friends are invited to his Funeral Mass at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at 11:00am. His viewing will be Thursday morning from 9:30 to 10:50am, at the church.
