Albert A. Rossi

Albert A. Rossi, age 86 of Trooper, formerly of South Philadelphia, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 16, 2017 at Season’s Hospice in Phoenixville, PA. Born in Philadelphia to the late Joseph and Carmella Rossi. He is also preceded in death by his brother Anthony. Al was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He belonged to the Facenda-Whitaker Bowling Lane. He was the owner of Meyers Jewelers in Norristown. He retired from Aircraft Instruments in Doylestown. Al was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great friend to many. Al is survived by his wife of 56 years, Anna C. (Squitiere) Rossi; 3 children, Albert J. (Donna) of Pottstown, Louis A. (Pam) of Gilbertsville, and Donna Panish (Rick) of Trooper; 2 brothers, Joseph (Rita) and John (Mary); 2 sisters, Mary Scott and Rose Marie Marchesa (Robert); 4 grandchildren, Amanda, Nicole, Michael, and Tia. Family and friends are invited to his viewing from 9:45-10:45 am Friday, January 20, 2017 followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 am at Visitation BVM Church 196 N. Trooper Rd. Eagleville, PA 19403. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery in Norristown, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Al’s name may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements entrusted to Szpindor-Meyers Funeral Home.
