Albert C. Wagner, Jr. passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 21, 2009 at his residence in King of Prussia, PA. He was 83. Mr. Wagner worked as the head of Cost Accounting for Johnson-Matthey in Malvern, PA. He was a member of St. Augustine R.C. Church in Bridgeport, PA, where he sang in the choir, was a Eucharistic Minister and worked in the accounting office. Mr. Wagner was a US Navy veteran of WW II, serving from 1944 to 1946 in the Pacific Theatre of Operations. Born in Norristown, PA on August 2, 1925, he was a son of the late Albert C. and Sadie (Morris) Wagner. He was the husband of the late Mary Helen (O'Hara) Wagner, who died in 2003. Surviving are his loving family including three sons, Albert C. Wagner, III and his wife, Kathleen of Malvern, PA, Daniel J. Wagner and his wife, Colette of Collegeville, PA and Jeffrey L. Wagner and his wife, Maria of Harleysville, PA; a daughter, Beth Ann Elgin and her husband, Robert of Buckingham, PA; 12 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Marie Kelly.Relatives & friends are invited to his Funeral Mass at St. Augustine R.C. Church, 464 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at 11:00am. Officiating will be the Rev. Louis C. Bier, Pastor. Friends may call Tuesday morning from 9 to 10:50am, at the church. Interment in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Albert's memory to St. Augustine R.C.
