Alessandrino Alex' Vuotto, Sr.

Alessandrino "Alex" Vuotto, Sr. passed away peacefully on Friday, October 8, 2010 surrounded by his loving family at his residence in Bridgeport, PA. He was 76. Mr. Vuotto worked for 41 years as a foreman for the former Upper Merion & Plymouth Railroad. He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, PA.Born in Montella, Italy on October 29, 1933, he was a son of the late Angelo and Virginia (Sapatino) Vuotto. Surviving are his loving family including his wife of 56 years, Ida (Bosco) Vuotto; two sons, Angelo J. Vuotto of Worcester, PA and Alex S. Vuotto and his wife, Kristen of King of Prussia, PA; five grandchildren: Danielle, Alexandrea, Alexander, Nicholas and Victoria; a brother, Angelo Vuotto and his wife, Itala of Montana, Switzerland; a sister, Filomena Palatucci of Montella, Italy; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by a brother, Mario and a sister, Adalina Addesso.Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 502 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at 11:00am. His viewing will be Tuesday morning from 9 to 10:50am, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Entombment in St. Patrick's Cemetery Mausoleum, E. Norriton, PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Alex's memory to the American Parkinson's Disease Association, 332 Gerard Ave., Elkins Park, PA 19027.
