Alexander G. Panzano

Alexander G. "Alex" Panzano passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 22, 2012, surrounded by his loving family at his residence in King of Prussia, PA. He was 89. Mr. Panzano worked as a school teacher at South Philadelphia High School for over 30 years, until his retirement in 1987. He was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church, King of Prussia, PA.Mr. Panzano was a US Army veteran of WW II, serving as a sergeant from 1942 to 1945, in the Pacific Theatre of Operations. Born in Philadelphia, PA on February 12, 1923, he was a son of the late Vincenzo and Emerenziana "Mary" (Onorato) Panzano. He is survived by his loving family including his wife of 50 years, Aracelia N. (Negron) Panzano; a son, Alexander G. Panzano, II of King of Prussia, PA; a daughter, Sheralee Ann Panzano of Bensalem, PA; a granddaughter, Katherine Alexis Panzano; a great-grandson, Evan M. Kohler; a brother, Vincent Panzano of Connecticut; and 2 nephews, Vincent & Craig Panzano. Alexander's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Friday, July 27, 2012 at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends may call Friday morning from 9 to 9:50 am, at the church.
