Alfred P. Frankowski, 93, of Philadelphia, PA passed away Saturday, September 22nd, at Genesis Quakertown Center, Quakertown, PA. Alfred was born in Philadelphia, PA on February 7, 1925, the son of the late Mary (nee Kit) and Joseph Frankowski. He was also the brother of the late Matthew, Joseph and James Frankowski and Dorothy Cancelliere. Alfred will be remembered by his surviving Brother Francis Frankowski, sisters Loretta Knapp and Florence Goulding. He was the widower of Marie Anna (Gonnelli) Frankowski who preceded him on May 8, 1985. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II where he received the European African Middle Eastern Theater medal and Good Conduct Medal and the American Theater Ribbon, he also received the World War II Victory Medal And the Army of Occupation Medal. He had worked as a Production Planner for Eaton Corp. and retired in 1982 Alfred was a member of Our Lady of Consolation Church and enjoyed Photography, Traveling and dancing. Alfred is survived by his two sons Michael S., husband of Kathleen Frankowski, of Sellersville, PA and Stephen Frankowski, of Philadelphia. Alfred is also survived by his grandchildren Katelyn, Bryan and Brendan Frankowski. Public Viewing will be held 9:30 AM to 10:20 AM on Monday, October 1st, 2018 at Our Lady of Consolation Church in Philadelphia, PA. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Monday, October 1st, 2018 at Our Lady of Consolation Church, 7056 Tulip St. in Philadelphia, PA with Fr. Joseph Farrell officiating.
