Alfred E. 'Al' Norwicke

Alfred E. "Al" Norwicke passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. He was 86. Mr. Norwicke was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. He worked as an accountant for the former Conrail Railroad, until his retirement in the 1990's. Al was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia. Mr. Norwicke was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.Born in Riverside, NJ on September 16, 1928, he was a son of the late George and Margaret (Coyle) Norwicke. He was the husband of the late Marie A. (D'Orazio) Norwicke, who died in 1985. Surviving is his loving family including two sons, Robert J. Norwicke and Kelli Williams of Marlton, NJ and Thomas and Christina Norwicke of Collegeville, PA; a daughter, Kathleen M. and John Karichko of Whitaker, PA; four grandchildren: John, Andrew, Carolyn & Jason; two great-grandsons, Jack and Adam; and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by a brother, George and a sister, Margaret Capone. Relatives & friends are invited to Al's Funeral Mass at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA on Monday, October 13, 2014 at 10:30 am. His viewing will be Monday from 9 to 10:20 am, at the church. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Al's memory to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 125 South 9th.
