Alfred F. 'Al' Wilmouth

Alfred F. "Al" Wilmouth Jr. passed away suddenly as the result of an automobile accident on Thursday, March 12, 2009 in Manning, South Carolina. He was 79. Mr. Wilmouth was a resident of Audubon PA. He was a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA, Class of 1951. Al worked as an insurance executive for Provident Mutual and later its subsidiary, Provident Mutual Life & Annuity Company of America, where he served as President and a Director, retiring on May 16, 1994, after 50 years of service. He was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Church in Audubon, PA. Born in Worcester, MA on October 10, 1929, he was a son of the late Alfred F. Sr. and Aileen (Kearney) Wilmouth. Surviving are his loving family including his wife of 51 years, Donna M. (Gray) Wilmouth; a son, John Wilmouth and his wife, Heather of San Francisco, CA; two daughters, Maree Freeborn and her husband, James of Havertown, PA and Julia Parastino and her husband, Dennis of Souderton, PA; 5 grandchildren: Evan Wilmouth, Casey and Ashley Freeborn & Matthew and Kathryn Parastino; and a brother, Robert K. Wilmouth and his wife, Ellen of Chicago, ILL. Relatives & Friends are invited to his Funeral Mass at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 1260 S. Trooper Rd. Audubon, PA 19403 on Monday, March 23, 2009 at 10:00am. Friends may call Monday morning from 9 to 9:50am, at the church. Interment in Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Al's memory to St. Teresa of Avila Church, 1260 S. Trooper Rd., Audubon, PA 19403 and/or the College of the Holy Cross, Development Office, 1 College St., Worcester, MA 01610.
