Alice M. 'Sugie' Charles

Alice M. "Sugie" (Dunn) Charles passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Mercy Suburban Hospital in E. Norriton, PA. She was 62. Mrs. Charles was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. She worked in the textile industry for 15 years. Sugie was a member of the VFW Post 7878 in King of Prussia, the Swedesburg Fire Co. and the Valley Forge Fire Co. She enjoyed food and traveling to the shore, Poconos, Outer Banks and Boston. Most of all she loved her family, grandchildren and loving husband of 47 years. Born in Philadelphia, PA on July 22, 1952, she was a daughter of the late William and Emma (Toner) Dunn. Surviving is her loving family including her husband, Donald R. Charles; two sons, William & Christina Charles of Douglassville, PA and Joseph & Sheri Charles of Philly, PA; five grandchildren: Casey, Tyler, Brendan, Nicholas and Erin Charles; a sister, Teresa & John Barrett of Lansdowne, PA; and many other loving family members. Relatives and friends are invited to Sugie's Prayer Service at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 7:30 pm. Her viewing will be from 6 to 7:30 pm. Interment will be private at the request of the family.
