Alice M. (Hemcher) Koresko passed away suddenly on March 18, 2021 at Buffalo General Medical Center in Buffalo, NY. She was 79. Mrs. Koresko was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. She was the secretary at Roberts Elementary School for 33 years in the Upper Merion Area School District. Alice was a member of the Ukrainian-American String Band and founding member of the Upper Merion Township Farmer’s Market. She enjoyed traveling with her friends from VIP Tours and was an avid reader and Jeopardy viewer. Born in Bryn Mawr, PA on October 14, 1941, the daughter of the late John and Mary (Kelly) Hemcher. Alice was married to the late George A. Koresko, Sr., who passed away in 2017. Surviving is her loving family including two sons, George A. Koresko, Jr., of King of Prussia, PA and David (Barbara) Koresko of Schwenksville, PA; a daughter, Lisa (David) Burns of King of Prussia, PA; 8 grandchildren: Lauren Koresko, George A. Koresko III, Matthew Koresko, David Burns, Kelly Burns, David Koresko Jr., Victoria Miller, and Michael Roberto; and family friend that Alice thought of as a son, Scott (Jennifer) Newell of King of Prussia, PA; two sisters, Margaret Smeykal (Chas) and Jacqueline Smith (James). A sister, Mary Plush, precedes her in death. Relatives and friends are invited to Alice’s viewing at the Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA on Thursday, March 25, 2021 from 6 to 8pm. Everyone is also invited to attend her graveside service on Friday, March 26, 2021 at 12 noon at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens in King of Prussia, PA. Condolences to the family at www.bacchifh.com
