Alice G. Volpe

Alice G. (Vanderslice) Volpe passed away peacefully on Monday, September 17, 2018 at Bryn Mawr Hospital in Bryn Mawr, PA. She was 71. Alice was a resident of Bridgeport, PA, and a member of Sacred Heart Church in Bridgeport. She was an avid Phillies fan. Born in Norristown, PA on October 24, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Hazel (Brown) Vanderslice. Surviving is her loving family including her husband, Michael G. Volpe; 2 sons, Michael T. (and Amy) Volpe and Matthew (and Michele) Volpe; a daughter, Michelle G. (and Antonio) DeMarco; 8 grandchildren: Jennifer, Abby, Tommy, Christopher, David, Zachary, Emily and Allison; 1 great-grandson, Henry; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by many brothers and sisters. The family will receive relatives & friends at Sacred Heart Church, 120 Jefferson St., Bridgeport, PA on Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 9:30 to 10:20 am, with her Funeral Mass at 10:30 am. Entombment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery Mausoleum, E. Norriton Twp., PA.
