Alma M. (Marczely) Markart passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 23, 2011 in Montgomery Hospital, Norristown, PA. She was 91. Mrs. Markart was a resident of Brightview Independent Living in E. Norriton, PA and was formerly a resident of King of Prussia for more than 60 years. She worked as an administrative assistant. Alma was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in King of Prussia, PA.Born in Philadelphia, PA on December 15, 1919, she was a daughter of the late John and Emma Marczely. She was the wife of the late Paul J. Markart, who died in 1998. Surviving is her loving family including two daughters, Marilyn M. Duffy and her husband, Michael of Royersford, PA and Pamela M. Erwin and her husband, John of Maple Glen, PA; four grand-children: Michael P. Duffy and his fiancé, Kristen Cornely, Mark Duffy, Emilie Erwin and David Erwin; a sister, Ruth Marczely of Philadelphia, PA; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers: John, Harold and William Marczely; and a sister, Gertrude Campbell. Relatives and friends are invited to Alma's Graveside Service at Greenmount Cemetery, 4301 N.
