Alma T. Schambron

Alma T. (Cortellessa) Schambron passed away peacefully on Friday, January 10, 2020, at Pocopson Home in West Chester, PA. She was 99. Mrs. Schambron was a former resident of King of Prussia, PA. She worked as a teacher for both the Upper Merion Junior and Senior High Schools for many years. Born in Akron, Ohio on January 2, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Angelo and Josephine (Belfiore) Cortellessa; and the wife of the late Charles W. Schambron. Surviving is her loving family including 3 daughters: Stephanie Joyce of Amherst, MA, Michelle Schwarz and her husband, Paul, of Media, PA and Denise Cooper of Berwyn, PA; 5 grandchildren: Tessa, Ryan, Gregory, Benjamin and Alysse; and 1 great-grandchild, Reaghan. Funeral services and interment will be private.
