Andrew E. Swenda

Andrew E. "Andy" Swenda passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 2, 2018, surrounded by his loving family at his residence in Bridgeport, PA. He was 89. Andy owned and operated an auto body repair shop. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Born in Bridgeport, PA on October 1, 1929, he was a son of the late George and Mary (Gigus) Swenda and the husband of the late Joan G. (Mellon) Swenda, who died in 2015. Surviving is his loving family including 7 children; 20 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many other family members. Funeral services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
