Angela V. Novitski-Cassel

Angela V. (Cusumano) Novitski-Cassel passed away peacefully on Monday, April 11, 2011, surrounded by her loving family at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. She was 76. Mrs. Cassel was a resident of Worcester Twp, PA. She worked as a law clerk for Becket and Lee Law Firm in Malvern, PA. Born in Norristown, PA on June 12, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Josephine (Cicala) Cusumano. Surviving is her loving family including her husband of 35 years, John A. Cassel; three sons, Stephen F. Novitski, III and his wife, Margaret of Conshohocken, PA, Paul C. Novitski of Biglerville, PA and Charles P. Novitski of Collegeville, PA; a daughter, Mary Kay Barr and her husband, Danny of Whitemarsh, PA; two step-sons, John C. Cassel and his wife, Sharon of Daytona, FL and Robert B. Cassel and his wife, Kate of Norristown, PA; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; a sister Victoria A. Cusumano of Jamison, PA; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers: Joseph, Charles, Paul and Alfonso Cusumano; and a sister, Mary R. Cassano. Relatives and friends are invited to her Prayer Service at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 10:00am. Angela's viewings will be Wednesday evening from 6 to 8pm, also Thursday morning from 9 to 9:50am, both at the Funeral Home. Interment will be private at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Angela's memory to Leukemia Research at HUP, 3400 Spruce St., Philadelphia, PA 19104.
