Ann Alberto (Haase), age 102, of Bensalem, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at home on August 1, 2026. Born on October 11, 1923, Ann lived a vibrant, remarkably full life, centered entirely around her massive, loving family, her extensive community, and her deep faith. Ann was a woman who truly embraced the joy of living and she lived HER way. In her young adult life during the 1940s, Ann did not bend and conform to the era’s expectation of femininity. Her aesthetic was chic, progressive, and she was unapologetic in her enjoyment of the occasional drink or cigarette. In the latter half of her life, she found great happiness in the quiet moments—solving crosswords and word searches, reading, and watching movies—but she was equally spirited, always ready for a great night out, card games, and traveling.

For decades, she and her late husband, David, were dedicated and highly active members of the Wissinoming Yacht Club, where they built lifelong friendships and lasting memories throughout the DRYL. Ann retired from the Bensalem Township School District after many years of service as a custodian. She was also devoted to her church community as a long-standing member of the Legion of Mary.

Above all, Ann was the fierce, proud matriarch of an extraordinary family. She was an adoring wife to her late husband, David, and a loving mother to nine children. While reaching the incredible milestone of 102 years, she lost many loved ones along the way. She is predeceased by her mother, Sophie Haase (Schlegel); her brother, Carl Haase; and her beloved children: Nancy Kennedy, Barbara Reynolds, David F. Alberto, Judy Matthews, Richard Alberto, and Matthew Alberto.

Her legacy lives on through the family she cherished. She is survived by her children, Jill (Fred) Hoch, Janet (Harry) Hudick, Tina (Ed) Lusher, and Jeffrey Alberto. She also leaves behind three nieces, 33 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, 24 great-great-grandchildren, as well as countless cousins and friends who will miss her quick wit, her warmth, and her enduring love.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Ann's exceptional life on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 10:00 am – 11:00 am, followed by her funeral service starting at 11:00 am, both held at the Hoffmann Meyers Givnish Funeral Home, 1770 Brown Ave., Bensalem, PA 19020.

Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Philadelphia, PA.
