Ann R. (Lane) Macintyre

Ann Randolph (Lane) MacIntyre passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery in E. Norriton, PA. She was 83. Mrs. MacIntyre worked for many years as a bookkeeper for the former Sacred Heart Hospital in Norristown, PA and also for the Island Packet Yacht Co. in Largo, FL. Ann was a member of Visitation B.V.M. Church in Trooper, PA. She was an avid Scrabble and bridge player, and loved old movies and the theatre.Born on March 27, 1930 in the Bronx, NY, Ann grew up in Mineloa, NY, and lived in New York City, Denver, CO, Norristown and Largo, FL. She was a daughter of the late James Randolph and Madeleine (Watkins) Lane. She was the wife of the late John "Jack" MacIntyre. Surviving is her loving family including a son, James R. Halley and his wife, Kathleen Gurchiek, of Woodbridge, VA; a daughter, Mary V. DeLuca and her husband, Mark, of Audubon, PA; two grandchildren, Lauren DeLuca and her husband, Eric Johnson, and Anthony DeLuca; and many beloved nephews, nieces and friends. She was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Ryan.Ann's Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the upper church of Visitation B.V.M. Church, 196 N. Trooper Rd., Trooper, PA on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at 10:00 am. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday from 9 to 9:50 am, at the church. Entombment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery Mausoleum, King of Prussia, PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ann's memory to Visitation B.V.M. Church, 196 N.
