Ann M .Mckeon

McKeon Ann M., 88 of Jenkintown, peacefully on Feb. 11, 2018. Born in Thomastown, Ireland in County Kilkenny, Ann was in the Women’s Land Army during WWII in England and came to the U.S. in 1948, where she became a citizen in 1960. She enjoyed her garden and was an avid reader. She had worked for the Jenkintown School District for 25 years. Beloved wife of the late Daniel J. Loving mother of Catherine Bennett (William), Bernard J. and Mary Anne Shirey (David). Devoted grandmother of Genevieve, Lance, the late Michael and the late Daniel. Great grandmother of Michael, Gabriel, and Odin. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Thurs. Feb. 15, 2018 from 9-10 AM at Joseph J. McGoldrick Funeral Home 507 West Ave. Jenkintown, PA 19046. A Funeral mass will follow at Immaculate Conception BVM Church at 10:30 AM. Her Interment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
