Ann B. Shemar-Grover

Ann B. (Bani) Shemar-Grover passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery in E. Norriton, PA. She was 94. Ann was a resident of Norristown, PA. She worked at the Norristown State Hospital for many years. Born in Conshohocken, PA on September 10, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Katherine (Buchnowicz) Bani. Surviving is her loving family including her husband of 27 years, Arthur H. Grover; a daughter, Michele S. Tomkin and her husband, Martin; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Michael Shemar, who died in 1977; and her 11 siblings. The family will receive relatives and friends at SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 519 Union Ave., Bridgeport, PA on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 from 9:30 to 10:20 am; with Divine Liturgy starting at 10:30 am. Interment will be in SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ann’s memory to Valley Forge Baptist Church, 616 S. Trappe Rd., Collegeville, PA 19426.
