Anna May (Mcnamara) Hallman

Anna May (McNamara) Hallman passed away peacefully on Friday, January 15, 2010, surrounded by her loving family at Regina Nursing Center in Norristown, PA. She was 94. Mrs. Hallman was a resident of Norristown, PA. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Norristown, PA. Anna May worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for the Norristown State Hospital. Born in Port Kennedy, PA on May 4, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Elizabeth (Kean) McNamara. She was the wife of the late Joseph F. Hallman. Surviving are her loving family including three daughters, Frances E. Burns of Fairfield, Iowa, Geraldine E. DePietro, widow of Victor of Norristown, PA and Janet Lee Hallman and her fiancé, Dominic Bruno of Norristown, PA; four grandchildren: Valerie DePietro (John Becker), Michael DePietro, Kathleen Burns-Britton and Suzanne Burns; one great-granddaughter, Mirabai Britton; two sisters, Evelyn Gorman of Jeffersonville, PA and Nettie Tarlecki of Upper Darby, PA; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Raymond Burns, Jr.; two brothers, John and Edward McNamara; and five sisters, Marguerite Detterer, Marian Mackin, Isabel Latshaw, Elizabeth Fink and Kathryn Wacker. Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass at the Regina Nursing Center, 550 E. Fornance St., Norristown on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at 10:30am. Friends may call Tuesday morning from 8 to 10am, at Regina. Interment will be private at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Regina Nursing Center, 550 E. Fornance St., Norristown, PA 19401.
