Anna J. Legin

Anna J. Legin Miss Anna J. Legin, 100, of Philadelphia passed away Thursday, June 27th, 2013 peacefully at Deer Meadows Nursing Home. Miss Legin was born in Phila, PA on November 24, 1912, the daughter of the late Alphonse and Anna (Kautt) Legin.  She was the sister of (baby) Helen Legin, Marie Legin, Aurelia Legin and Leona Downey and Alphonse Legin. She worked in Janitorial services at St. Hubert High School and also worked for St. Edmund's Convent for the Sisters of the Holy Child Jesus. She was a member of Our Lady of Consolation Church in Philadelphia. Anna is survived by her nieces Anna Mae Legin and Marie Legin and her nephew and Godchild Philip Downey (Lorraine) and her great nephews; Christopher Downey, Stephen Downey, Kevin Downey (Laura) and Colin Downey (Diane) Services entrusted to the Walter J. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM.  Her interment will be at St. Dominic Cemetery.
