Anna V. (Hasko) Pignoli passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Montgomery Hospital in Norristown, PA. She was 97. Mrs. Pignoli was a resident of Bridgeport, PA. She worked for the former Minters Candy Co. in Bridgeport, PA. Anna was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport. Born in Phoenixville, PA on September 6, 1914, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Zaharanchic) Hasko. She was the wife of the late Ernest Pignoli. Surviving is her loving family including 2 sons, Rocco E. Pignoli and his wife, Regina, of Blue Bell, PA and Joseph G. Pignoli and his wife, Margaret, of W. Conshohocken, PA; 2 daughters, Sr. Regina Eleanor Pignoli of Bridgeport, PA and Ann M. Quirple and her husband, Daniel of Pottstown, PA; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by many brothers & sisters. Relatives & friends are invited to Anna's Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 502 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at 11:00am. Her viewing will be Tuesday morning from 9 to 10:50am, at the church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Lower Merion Twp., PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Anna's memory to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 502 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA 19405 and/or the Sisters of IHM, 1140 King Rd., Immaculata, PA 19345.Arrangements are by The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., Bridgeport, PA.www.bacchifuneralhome.com
