Anna Rosa Cilli

Anna Rosa (Buda) Cilli passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at the Wayne Center in Wayne, PA. She was 91. Anna was a former resident of King of Prussia, PA and a former member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, PA. She was a seamstress in the area for years, with a reputation of making spectacular bridal gowns. Anna loved crocheting, cooking, playing Tombola (Bingo), praying the Rosary, and spending time with her family.

Born in Cupello, Province of Chieti, Abruzzo, Italy on March 4, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Domenico and Regina (Bruni) Buda. Anna was the wife of the late Rinaldo Cilli who died in 2008.

Surviving is her loving family including her son, Adam Cilli (Nancy); 2 granddaughters, Regina R. (William Leary Jr.) and Alessandra “Sasha” M. (Daniel Johnston); a great-granddaughter, Evelyn Leary; 2 brothers, Giustino Buda (Maria) and Nicola Buda (Maria Pompea); 2 sisters, Maria Antonietta and Lucia Buda-Pieroni; and many other loving family members and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to Anna’s viewing at Sacred Heart Church, 120 Jefferson St., Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 from 9:30am to 10:15am, with her Funeral Mass starting at 10:30am. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA.
