Anne M. (Kuhn) Funke

Anne M. (Kuhn) Funke passed away peacefully on Friday, March 7, 2014, at her home in King of Prussia, PA. She was 90. Mrs. Funke was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia, PA and the Upper Merion Senior Center. Born in Philadelphia, PA on March 20, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Louis M. and Anna M. (Kopnizky) Kuhn. She was the widow of the late Alfred R. Funke, who died in 2011. Surviving is her loving family including two sons, Alfred J. Funke and his wife, Judith, of Oaks, PA and William R. Funke and his wife, Sarah, of W. Chester, PA; two daughters, Christine M. Woryk and her husband, Rick, of the Woodslands, TX and Nancy A. Funke of King of Prussia, PA; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Louis Kuhn of Sun City, AZ; and many nephews and nieces. Anne's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 10:00 am. Officiating will be the Rev. Martin T. Cioppi, Pastor. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 9 to 9:50 am, at the church. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Anne's memory to Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406.
