Anne M. Kinkle, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday May 28, 2020 at the age of 92. Anne was born December 29, 1927 in Philadelphia PA and spent the majority of her life in Tacony where she raised her family. Anne is predeceased by her husband William C. Kinkle (Bill) and her parents Bartholomew and Mary Kelly (nee Connor). Anne retired from Cigna in 1991 as a Supervisor of the Records Department after 24 years of service. When Anne wasn’t working or spending time with her loving family, she enjoyed reading a good mystery or romance novel. In addition, her green thumb and loving attitude helped her to create the most beautiful gardens which gave her peace and solitude. In retirement, Anne tapped into her artistic ability and learned to paint by watching Bob Ross, “The Joy of Painting” on PBS. Several of Anne’s beautiful paintings were donated to the Neshaminy Education Foundation for their annual auction and countless others may be found in the homes of her family members. Anne was a very humble and compassionate person who sometimes cared more about animals than people. Anne will forever be remembered by her children: Susan Davis (Mick) and William C. Kinkle Jr. (Donna); Grand-Children: Michelle Dougherty (John), Jennifer Vandever, Michael F. Davis Jr. (Sherri), Doreen Fullmer (Jaret), William C. Kinkle III (Patricia) and Selena Kelly (Joseph); Sister: Madeline Davis. Anne will also be lovingly remembered by her (19) Great-Grandchildren and (5) Great-Great Grandchildren who lovingly referred to her as “Mom-Mom Twinkle” because of her loving personality and the twinkle in her eyes. Relatives and friends are invited to her graveside service Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at 10 AM at Oakland Cemetery, Adams and Ramona Aves. Philadelphia, PA 19124. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anne’s memory to The Crossings Animal Society, Inc by going to their website www.thecrossingsanimalsociety.org and clicking the Donate button.
