Annelouise M. "Annie" Crooks

Annelouise M. “Annie” and “Grandie” (Peterson) Crooks passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at her residence in King of Prussia, PA. She was 70. Mrs. Crooks earned her Master’s in Education from West Chester University and worked as a teacher for the Marple Newtown School District. Annie was a voracious reader and enjoyed photography and poetry. She was known for crocheting afghans for most who knew her, and those who didn’t, especially children at Bryn Mawr Hospital Pediatrics. She loved her time in Sea Isle City and traveling the world on cruises. Annie was very generous in spirit and loved hosting dinner and Dominoes with her family and friends. Born in Darby, PA on September 1, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Helen Marie (Stief) Peterson. Surviving is her loving family including her husband of 44 years, Robert Crooks; a daughter, Kaci Vecchio and her husband, Chris, of Philadelphia, PA; a son, Kevin R. Crooks and his wife, Elizabeth, of Philadelphia, PA; three grandchildren: Cormac, Orla and Carter; two brothers, Michael Peterson and his wife, Gail, of Havertown, PA and Mark Peterson and his wife, Susan, of Duxbury, Mass; and many other loving family members. The family will receive visitors and guests on Sunday, May 20, 2018 from 9 to 11 AM at the Bacchi Funeral Home, 805 DeKalb St., Bridgeport, PA 19405. Interment will be private at the request of the family.
