Anthony R. "Fishy" Bolognese passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 26, 2011, surrounded by his loving family at his residence in King of Prussia, PA. He was 77. Tony was a self employed contractor at his own business, Bolognese Construction for over 25 years. He attended Bridgeport High School and was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, PA, where he was an annual feast worker. Tony was also a member of the Holy Saviour Club in Norristown, PA and was a charter member of the Sons of Italy Valley Forge Lodge No. 1776 in King of Prussia, PA. He was very active in the Bridgeport Little League, where he was a coach and sponsor. Born in Bridgeport, PA on February 6, 1934, he was a son of the late Raphael and Marietta (Preta) Bolognese. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 53 years, Shirley A. (Huffman) Bolognese; a son, Joseph Bolognese and his wife, Anita of Worcester, PA; a daughter, Diane Denick and her husband, Gerald of King of Prussia, PA; four grandchildren: Jaime, Kelsey and Dana Bolognese and Juliana Denick; a sister, Lena Billitto of Norristown, PA; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Attilio, Ralph, and Albert Bolognese.Relatives & friends are invited to his Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 502 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 10:30am. His viewing will be Wednesday morning from 8:30 to 10:20am, at the church.
