Anthony Mash

Anthony Mash passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 8, 2016, surrounded by his loving family at his residence in Bridgeport, PA. He was 84. Mr. Mash was an artist and worked for Amp. Inc., retiring in 1992. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Bridgeport, PA. Anthony was an avid gardener who also enjoyed cooking and fishing. Born in Norristown, PA on October 9, 1931, he was a son of the late Anthony and Mildred (Pasqueal) Mash. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 65 years, Patricia C. (Costello) Mash of Bridgeport, PA; a son, David J. Mash and his wife, Margaret, of Worcester, PA; a daughter, Joanne M. Bailey and her husband, William, of Eagleville, PA; seven grandchildren: Michael Mash, William Bailey, Ashley Amorosi, Christopher Bailey, Sarah Anne Mash, Derek Mash and Stacy Straubel; a great-granddaughter, Mariah Straubel; a sister, Mary DeFranco of Jeffersonville, PA; and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael A. Mash; a grandson, David J. Mash; a brother, Joseph R. Mash; and a sister, Josephine Perez. Relatives & friends are invited to Anthony’s Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church, 120 Jefferson St., Bridgeport, PA on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 11:00 am. His viewing will be Saturday from 9 to 10:45 am, at the church. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Anthony’s memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
