Anthony J. Settle

Settle Anthony John, 80 of Elkins Park passed peacefully at his residence on August 26, 2017. Tony was born on January 30, 1937. The son of the Late Mary E. (nee John) and Robert W. Settle. Tony was a teacher and principal for over 25 years. He received his masters degree from Temple University and was a Happy Valley Enthusiast having received his undergraduate from Penn State. He was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan. Tony met his wife, Mary, skiing with the Philadelphia Ski Club. He enjoyed cooking, eating, playing cards and most of all he loved his five grandchildren. Tony is the beloved husband of Mary F. (Manley) who preceded him in 2008. He is survived by his loving children Valerie Anne DiNatale (Matthew), Mary Katherine Folk (Kevin), and Robert Manley Settle. Devoted grandfather of Michael, Maria and Matthew DiNatale and Karoline and Kevin Folk. Family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, September 1, 2017 from 10:30 to 10:50 AM and his funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 AM, both at St. Joseph Parish Church, 332 Manor Ave. Downingtown, PA 19335.
