Anthony Zampogna, age 80, of Audubon, P.A., peacefully passed into eternal life on April 8, 2013. Born in Delianouva, Italy, Mr. Zampogna moved to Philadelphia as a teenager, settling in Audubon. He was a master mason who entered the trade at age 11 and whose specialties included: stone, brick, marble, and stucco. As owner of Zampogna Contractors he was very proud of his projects with Genuardi Markets, Burger King, Archdiocesan churches/schools and a large number of commercial and residential clients. Mr. Zampogna, a devoted husband and father, recently celebrated his fiftieth wedding anniversary with his wife, Susan. His family was very important to him. He was the proud grandfather of four young grandsons. He was a wonderful, principled person who was loved and respected and will be missed by all. Surviving are his wife, Assunta Susan (nee Fareri), sons, Domenic (Angela), Joseph (Stacey), and Anthony (Katherine) Zampogna, grandsons, Christian, Anthony, Domenic, & Joseph Zampogna, and his brother, Frank Zampogna. He was predeceased by his parents, Domenico and Filomena (nee Frisina). Family and Friends may call on Saturday, April 13th, (9AM to 10:50AM) at Visitation BVM Church, 196 N. Trooper Rd, Trooper PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11AM followed by interment at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ. In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution for Anthony Zampogna may be made c/o 501 Falcon Rd. Audubon, PA 19403. Friends may call from 9-10:50 AM followed by a funeral Mass at 11 AM Saturday, April 13th at Visitation BVM Church Interment in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ
