Antoinette M. (Toro) Petro passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery in E. Norriton, PA. She was 88. Mrs. Petro was a resident of Bridgeport, PA. She worked as an assembly worker for 35 years for the former Philco-Ford in Lansdale, PA. Antoinette was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, PA. She loved crocheting, bowling, going to the casinos and she was a Phillies and Yankees baseball fan. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.Born in Lionville, PA on March 1, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Lalla) Toro-Scandone. Surviving is her loving family including two daughters, Barbara A. Bosco and her husband, Mario, of King of Prussia, PA and Susan T. Ancona of Bridgeport, PA; four grandchildren: Michael, Andrew, Jennifer & Anthony; two great-grandchildren, Julian & CJ; a brother, Joseph Scandone and his wife, Cassie, of Norristown, PA; a sister, Loretta Valerio of King of Prussia, PA; sister-in-law, Ninette Toro of Bridgeport, PA; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Toro.Relatives & friends are invited to Antoinette's Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 502 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA on Monday, August 5, 2013 at 10:00 am. Her viewing will be Monday morning from 9 to 9:50 am, at the church.
