Antoinette Ritrovato, 97, of Bridgeport, PA, passed away at her residence on Saturday, October 24, 2015. She was a lifelong resident of Bridgeport, leaving only to enjoy her travels to many different parts of the world. Antoinette attended Bridgeport High School before working as an assembly person for many years. She was a member of the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, where she was an annual feast worker. She was active in the senior center and was very well known in the local community. When not engaged in the events of the community, Antoinette could often be found watching and rooting for Notre Dame. Most of all, she was devoted to her family above all else. Born in Bridgeport, PA on June 13, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Vincenzo and Theresa (DeStefano) Ritrovato. Surviving is her loving family including two brothers, Salvatore Ritrovato of Norristown, PA and Louis (Emile) Ritrovato of Hershey, PA; one sister, Della Woyden of King of Prussia, PA; two sisters-in-law, Pearl and Maxine Ritrovato, both of Bridgeport, PA; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Nicholas, Charles and Richard Ritrovato; a sister-in-law, Kathleen Ritrovato; and a brother-in-law, Edward Woyden. Relatives & friends are invited to Antoinette’s Funeral Mass at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Worship Site, 502 Ford Street, Bridgeport, PA on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 11:00 am. Her viewing will be Thursday morning from 9:00 to 10:50 am, at the worship site. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Antoinette’s honor to a charity of your choice.
