Collegeville, PA

Antonio Antenucci ("Tony"), of Norristown, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 14, 2026, with his family by his side at Dock Woods Senior Living Community in Lansdale. He was born on March 4, 1933, in Isernia, Italy, to the late Andrea Antenucci and Sabina (DiCiurcio) Antenucci. He enjoyed 93 years of a life well lived.

Antonio is survived by his beloved wife, Antonia "Antonietta" (nee Tella) Antenucci; his children, Andrew Antenucci, Michael (Stephanie) Antenucci, and Natalie Baldassari (Philip); his grandchildren, Alexandria (Antenucci) CuCulino, Lauren Antenucci, Mitchell Antenucci, Elizabeth Antenucci, Philip Baldassari III, and Jill Baldassari; his 2 great-grandchildren, Elaina and Penelope CuCulino; and his sisters, Alfonsina Carlomango, Gemma Varone, and Roseanna Diana and his many in-laws, nieces, and nephews and extended family.

In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by his siblings, Giovannina Palermo, Franco Antenucci, Maria Marras, Enzo Antenucci, and Luciana Biondi.

Born and raised in Isernia, Italy, Tony grew up working alongside his father in the family's business, selling fine Italian linens adorned with hand-woven lace. As the second oldest of nine children, he learned the values of hard work, family, and perseverance from an early age. He also attended architectural school in Italy, where he developed a lifelong appreciation for design and craftsmanship.

Tony married the love of his life, Antonietta, in 1954. After welcoming their first child, Andrew, the family immigrated to the United States in 1961 and eventually made their home in Norristown, Pennsylvania. He worked as a steelworker for Alan Wood Steel in Conshohocken and later as a clamp operator for Container Corporation of America in Manayunk. A true jack-of-all-trades, Tony was known for his remarkable ability to build, repair, and create. He later designed and helped build his own family home in Lower Providence Township.

Tony enjoyed cycling, fishing, gardening, making homemade wine, playing bocce, sharpening machinery blades for local hardware stores, and driving family and friends to Atlantic City for some fun at the casinos. He took great pride in tending his vegetable garden and fruit trees, especially his cherished fig and persimmon trees. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Above all else, he loved spending time with his family and friends, particularly his grandchildren, who brought him immense pride and joy throughout his life.

A devoted member of his community, Tony volunteered at Visitation BVM Church, where he was a member of the Wednesday morning cleaning crew following Mass in the lower church. He was also an active member and volunteer with the senior citizens group in Lower Providence. He also loved being a team member at the Lower Providence Bocce League. His kindness, strong work ethic, sense of humor, and dedication to family and friends will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. on Monday, June 22, 2026, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish, Upper Church, 196 N. Trooper Road, Eagleville, PA 19403.

Interment will follow at St. Matthew's Mausoleum in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania.
