Armando N. Delmoro passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at Einstein Montgomery Home Health Hospice of Norristown, PA. He was 92. Mr. Delmoro was a resident of Bridgeport, PA and a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He worked as a millwright for various steel companies. Armando was a member of Sacred Heart Church and the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, both in Bridgeport. Armando enjoyed dancing, fishing, hunting and gardening. He was very proud of his vegetable garden, especially his tomatoes and figs. Armando loved his pigeons and doves. He used to race pigeons and even won some trophies. Born on June 9, 1929 in Minersville, PA he was a son of the late Nazzareno and Ida (Galasso) Delmoro; and the husband of the late Dora Mary (Cinelli) Delmoro, who died in 2020. He is survived by two daughters, Barbara Burkert and Doreen Gatlos; four grandchildren: Michael and Melissa Myers and Stephen and Danielle Gatlos; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a brother, Sandy Delmoro and his wife, Libby. He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Stephen Gatlos; sister, Phyllis Godfrey; and three brothers: Nicholas Peroni, Paul Peroni and Bruno Delmoro. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb Street, Bridgeport, PA on Friday, April 1, 2022 from 11:00 am to 11:50 am; with his Memorial Service starting at 12 noon. Masks will be required. Burial will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia.
