Arthur William Forster

Arthur W. Forster passed away on March 17, 2023, after a 3-year battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 75. Mr. Forster was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. He graduated from Staunton Military Academy in 1966 and after serving in the US Navy, he graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a degree in Graphic Arts and Sciences. In 1974 he opened and operated Forster’s Frame It in Wayne, until his retirement in 2015. Arthur was a member of Wayne Presbyterian Church, Wayne Business Association and Wayne Rotary.

Born in Allentown on October 25, 1947, he was a son of the late Robert S. Forster, Sr. and Velma H. (Stanbery) Forster. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 42 years, Gail (Harris) Forster; son, Andrew Forster and his wife, Jennifer of West Chester; daughter, Erin McIntyre and her husband, Michael of King of Prussia; two grandsons, Alexander and Carter Forster of West Chester; sister-in-law, Bebe Forster of Wayne; and many wonderful nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert S. Forster, Jr. in 2019.

A Memorial Service will be held at Wayne Presbyterian Church, 125 E. Lancaster Avenue, Wayne, PA 19087 on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at 2:00 pm. There will be a reception immediately following the service. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Arthur’s memory to a charity of the donor’s choice.
