Arthur W. Hutchinson

Arthur W. Hutchinson passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 5, 2010, surrounded by his loving family at his residence in King of Prussia, PA. He was 76. Mr. Hutchinson worked as a computer programmer for United Engineers and Contractors in Philadelphia, PA for 31 years. He was a member of Valley Forge Baptist Church in Valley Forge, PA. Arthur was a member of the St. Albans Masonic Lodge #529 in Philadelphia, PA, the Damascus Commandery #95 in Doylestown, PA, the Masonic Veterans of PA and other Masonic organizations. He was the past president of most and he received several honors from them. He was also a member of the Whitpain Historical Society and the Valley Forge Homestead Quilters, where both he and his wife quilted. Mr. Hutchinson was a US Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving from 1953 to 1955. Born in Philadelphia, PA on October 14, 1933, he was a son of the late Clement and Margaret (Lees) Hutchinson. Surviving are his loving family including his wife of 47 years, Ethel M. (Garlick) Hutchinson; a son, William S. Depp-Hutchinson and his wife, Cindy of Punxsutawney, PA; four grandchildren: Michael, Sarajane, Elizabeth and Rebekah; a brother, Arnold K. Hutchinson and his wife, Stephanie of Cicero, NY; a sister, Naomi R. Courtney and her husband, Norman of Floral City, FL; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by a son, Karl B. Hutchinson, who died in 2004.Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Service at The Bacchi-Courtney Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 10:00am. Officiating will be the Rev. William J. Farrow, Pastor of Valley Forge Baptist Church. His viewings are Friday evening from 6 to 8pm, and Saturday morning from 9 to 9:50am, both at the funeral home. A Masonic Service will be held on Friday evening at 7:30pm. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, W.
