Attilio Jr. Bolognese

Attilio Bolognese Jr. passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 4, 2014, surrounded by his loving family at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He was 73. Mr. Bolognese was a lifelong resident of Bridgeport, PA. He was a self-employed plumber who owned and operated Attilio Plumbing in Bridgeport. Attilio was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and the Triple S Sportsman Club, both in Bridgeport. Mr. Bolognese was a US Airforce veteran, serving from 1959 to 1962.Born in Bridgeport, PA on January 4, 1941, he was a son of the late Attilio J. Bolognese, Sr. and Millie (Messantonio) Bolognese. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 35 years, Mary A. (McCulla) Bolognese; and two sons, Nicholas A. Bolognese and Patrick J. Bolognese and his wife, Michelle, both of Bridgeport, PA. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph M. Bolognese. Attilio's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 502 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA on Monday, February 10, 2014 at 11:00 am. The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday from 9 to 10:50 am, at the church. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Attilio's memory to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 502 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA 19405.Arrangements are by The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., Bridgeport, PA.www.bacchifuneralhome.com
