Augustine Gus' Scimeca

Augustine "Gus" Scimeca passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 4, 2013 in King of Prussia, PA. He was 79. Gus worked as a hair stylist for numerous hair salons on the Main Line. He was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia.Born in Philadelphia, PA on February 5, 1934, he was a son of Benjamin and Mary (Pettinelli) Scimeca. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 57 years, Lillian (Barbagallo) Scimeca; a son, Ben R. Scimeca and his wife, Erin, of Collegeville, PA; three daughters: Denise A. Pospiech and her husband, Anthony, of King of Prussia, PA, Lynne M. Haney and her husband, David, of Gilbertsville, PA and Stephanie S. Maio and her husband, Michael; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Josephine Bizzaro and Anna Marie Pollino, both of Philadelphia, PA; and many nephews and nieces. Relatives and friends are invited to Gus's Funeral Mass at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at 10:30 am. His viewing is Wednesday morning from 9 to 10:20 am, at the church. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia.
