Babette A. Van Vliet

Babette A. (Zenns) Van Vliet, 73, born in Teaneck, NJ, died January 24, 2009 at Montgomery Hospital. Babette was the only child of Max and Augusta Zenns. Reared in Lake Hiawatha, NJ, she graduated from Boonton High School and received an Associates Degree from Fairleigh Dickenson University. Years later, in 1985, she completed her education graduating summa cum laude from Bloomfield University with a B.S. in Business Administration with concentration in Personnel Administration which she utilized in her various managerial Human Resource positions at Schering Corp., Berwind Property Group and IKON Business Solutions. Up until very recently, Babette worked part-time for Kelleher Associates.Babette had enjoyed sports car rallying, the Jersey Shore, was an avid reader and accomplished pianist. She had a special interest in therapies/early intervention for learning disabled children. She will be sorely missed by her many friends, with whom she always took comfort, including the devoted fellow congregants of the Cornerstone Church. Babette is survived by her beloved son, Craig, of Holland, PA and a favorite cousin, Monica Jacoby of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL.A celebration of Babette's life will be held at Cornerstone Church, 1326 Stump Hall Road, Skippack, PA 19474 on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at 9:30am.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cornerstone Church, at the above address.Arrangements are by The Bacchi-Courtney Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., Bridgeport, PA. www.bacchicourtney.com
